Medford Recreation's pilot Adaptive Soccer Program will feature adaptive equipment, specialized professional staff, and one on one instruction and supports through a "buddy" program. We are actively seeking middle school and high school volunteer athletes for buddy program, and parents, friends, and family are always welcome. 

We also envision that this is an opportunity for parents to connect with one another and further build their own community of supports and connections and to share ideas on programs we can further build to support our disabled youth. From forming lasting friendships through parent and caregiver connections and for our young athletes through the buddy system our goal is to build and support our diverse and vibrant community through adaptive and inclusive recreation programs. 

Upon registration we will reach out to you to discuss your child's specific needs, and ensure that we have appropriate accommodations to make this not only fun for all, but to ensure the safest and most compassionate environment for Medford's disabled youth.
