This is a unique and fun format that will allow everyone to play a lot of tennis and meet a lot of people.
The youth singles tournament will have two age groups, 14 and under and 18 and under. The adult doubles tournament will have 2 divisions, Rough (for more advanced players) and Smooth (for more intermediate players).
The plan for this event is that each player/team will be divided into a group, and they will play 3 round robin matches within their group. Each match will be a total of 6 games (scores will be 3-3, 4-2, 5-1 or 6-0). After the 3 matches, each team's points will be tallied based on how many games they won. The top team from each group will advance to the semi-finals, and the winners of the semi-finals will square off in the finals. We do reserve the right to adjust the format if need be. Any adjustments will be announced to all players.
The cost of the event is $25 per participant per event. Trophies will be awarded to the winners and proceeds go to support scholarships for the Summer Tennis and ELA Program.
For the Adult Doubles, please register as a team. When checking out, you will have an opportunity to include your partners name.
