Sunday April 13, 2025
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM	Middle School Basketball Rec League - Basketball League Tryouts Coach Skerry, in collaboration with Medford Recreation, is pleased to announce the establishment of a Recreation Basketball League for the upcoming Spring season. This league is open to both boys and girls in grades 5-8, regardless of their prior basketball experience. The primary goal is to provide a fun outdoor environment while helping participants develop new basketball skills. Evaluations are scheduled for April 13th at 6:00 PM at the Barry Park Basketball Courts. Players will be organized into teams, ensuring a balanced mix of skill levels. Regular games will take place every Sunday between 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at either Barry Park or the Recreation Center, should inclement weather arise. Specific game times will be confirmed once teams are formed. The game schedule includes dates on April 27, May 4, May 11, May 18, June 1, and June 8. In addition, optional practice sessions will be held on Monday evenings at the Recreation Center from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM. Each player will receive a reversible basketball jersey. We encourage everyone to register for the league. There is no need to register for the evaluations or practice sessions.
