Wright's Pond Regatta - Adult Category: Ages 18+
Get ready for the Wright's Pond Regatta! Sponsored by the Friends of Medford Recreation, we invite you to join us on Saturday, August 22nd from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Wright’s Pond for a day of fun and excitement.Cost and Entry Categories/Divisions:
Youth (10-18) $30
Adults (18+) $30
Mixed Adults & Youth (Family) $30
Second Chance* (Anyone who does not win their heat can join this race)
Non-Amphibious Watercraft $10: A decor-only boat for the fun of it to be displayed at the “Boat Show”
This is a fundraiser for the Friends of Medford Recreation, a nonprofit organization created to aid, assist, and encourage the City of Medford, Massachusetts in providing recreational programs, services and facilities, and to thereby enhance the welfare of the citizens of our wonderful city.Suggested Spectator Donation: $5Food and beverages will be available for purchase.This is a community wide event with something for everyone:
Mini Boat Activities for kids
The Medford Boat Show: A pre-race event where spectators get to vote on categories like most creative, best Medford spirit, most likely to succeed (stay afloat), etc.
Swag: All participants (except for Boat Show participants) and volunteers get a T-shirt. Please register before August 7th to have your shirt sized ordered on time.
Awards: Trophies for race winners and decor category winners
Join Us! Whether you're building a boat to compete or coming to cheer on the racers, it’s going to be an amazing event! Enjoy music, lawn games, and concessions between the races.To register your boat, sign up below. Each boat can have up to three paddlers. We'll collect the ages of all paddlers and team name during registration and do our best to match races with similar age groups.
