Parent / Child Little Skaters - Parent/ Child Little Skaters (Winter I)
A parent / guardian is required to be on the ice with their child and must be wearing ice skates. Adult skates are available to rent at the Skate Shop for $8.Join Medford Recreation as we revamp our Parent/Child Learn to Skate Program! Coach Christine will be teaching your child how to ice skate. Each week, we will have fun activities and games to help get your child become comfortable on the ice in a fun atmosphere. All children must wear a helmet to participate in the class. Due to limited preschool skate sizes, participants must provide their own skates.

Its Great to Skate- Free skating lesson clinic - Great to Skate- Free Skating Clinic
This event is sponsored by US Figure Skating, Medford Recreational Hockey, and the Medford Recreation Department. In this free learn to skate clinic, Recreation Staff and USFS Professional Skating Instructors will introduce children to the skating. There will be 25 minutes of instruction, followed by 25 minutes of free skate.All children must wear a helmet and mittens while on the ice.This can include a bicycle helmet. Free skate rental is available upon request but is limited in availability. Please use your own skate if you have them.For questions about the program, please contact Roberta Bailey at regbails@aol.com If you liked the skating lesson, please consider signing up for Session 2 of the Medford Recreation Hockey, Learn to Skate Program.
