Each week, children will explore different colors, textures, and art techniques through age-appropriate painting projects.From finger painting and sponge stamping to fun seasonal crafts, every class encourages creativity, imagination, and self-expression in a relaxed and playful environment. No artistic experience is needed, just come ready to get messy and have fun! And the best part? You can kick back and relax, we’ll handle the cleanup!

11:30 AM - 12:30 PM	Kids Test Kitchen - Kids Test Kitchen (Fall) Kids' Test Kitchen builds food confidence through hands-on cooking experiences that inspire curiosity, develop practical life skills, and empower participants to discover they're capable of more than they thought. One of the things families tell us most often is that even their pickiest eaters become willing to explore new foods—without pressure, bribery, or coercion. Each class is filled with chopping, measuring, mixing, creating—and, if participants choose, tasting. Participation is always encouraged. Tasting is always a choice. Participants don't just learn recipes. They build independence, teamwork, problem-solving skills, patience, and confidence that extends well beyond the kitchen. Every participant receives a recipe card and either the featured ingredient or a sample of the finished recipe to continue the experience at home. We're often told participants leave class excited about the foods they've prepared, eager to recreate recipes, and more willing to explore new, nourishing foods. Each Kids' Test Kitchen series features new recipes built around fresh, whole foods and evidence-informed nutrition education developed by Registered Dietitians. Food allergies shouldn't keep anyone from participating. 10:00 AM - 10:45 PM	Gingerbread Houses and Winter Craft - Gingerbread House Decorating and Winter Craft Come on over for some festive gingerbread house decorating, great music, and lots of fun! And guess what? You won’t have to worry about any clean-up afterward! All the beautiful houses will be showcased at the Holiday Extravaganza on Wednesday, December 2, from 4:30-6:30 PM at City Hall. If you'd like to take your creation home, you can pick it up after the event. Registration will be determined by the number of participants. Therefore, if your family would like to receive one gingerbread house, please register one individual. If you would like to receive two gingerbread houses, please register two individuals.Below you will see an example of the ginerbread houses. We will have a variety of candy decorations and additional white frosting with food coloring to create different colors. Feel free to bring along any extra decorations you'd like to add for a personal touch!Once you finish your gingerbread house, participants and families may enjoy a winter craft!
