9:00 AM - 10:00 AM    Wrestling Program - Wrestling Clinic Grades 2-5
This program will cover the basics of wrestling, and each practice will be formatted the same. We will start with a dynamic warm-up to ensure the athletes are prepared. We will then do technique work, learning the basics, takedowns, defense, and groundwork. We will then pick up the intensity briefly to apply what we have learned in that session to a match setting (with skill, ability, and safety as our priority). To finish, we will do conditioning through activities and games. I want to ensure each wrestler has some growth, no matter how small. By blending our focus on technique, applying it to real scenarios, and having fun, we can create the next generation of wrestlers and champions! My Name is Jacob Bastarache, and I am a passionate youth wrestling coach with several years of experience working with athletes of all skill levels and ages. As a former High School wrestler, I bring an understanding of the sport and a commitment to helping athletes reach their full potential. Additionally, I have five years of coaching experience in football and three years of coaching wrestling as an assistant at the youth and high school levels. Most notably, I was an assistant wrestling coach on the country's first Special Olympic Wrestling Team in Milford, MA.My wrestling achievements include: Over 100 career wins Natick Wrestling Captain 2016 Sectional Champion 2x All-State Qualifier 2x State Place winner 2016 State Runner-up 2x MetroWest Allstar 2x Baystate Allstar Top 5 at Lowell Holiday Tournament 2015 (85 teams) 3-year varsity letter winner My coaching philosophy is deeply rooted in creating a supportive and positive environment. I believe in developing well-rounded athletes through technical skills, physical conditioning, and sportsmanship. I want to ensure that every wrestler can learn and grow in this environment, designed to instill confidence in the athletes, allowing them to perform at their best while still having fun!

10:30 AM - 12:00 PM    Wrestling Program - Wrestling Clinic Grades 6-9

We’re excited to invite your 5-10 years olds to a fun-filled class designed to give their coordination skills a fantastic boost! Coach Sue, will lead the way as kids learn how to move smoothly and efficiently. We’ll explore essential skills like hopping, skipping, galloping, jumping jacks, and more, all while having a blast!Balance is another key focus, and we’ll practice that with engaging activities like walking on low balance beams, ball balancing, rolling, and fun balance poses. Our non-competitive games will ensure that everyone is involved and enjoying themselves as they develop their skills in a lively atmosphere.Additionally, we’ll incorporate elements of directionality, spatial awareness, and crossing the midline into our activities. Each class will support good posture, eye focus, and coordinating both sides of the body—with tons of fun equipment and plenty of encouragement along the way! We can’t wait to see everyone there!
