Pickleball is available for play Tuesday through Saturday at Dugger Park.Registration is required - Registered participants will receive a blue/pink bracelet admitting them to play on the courts during the designated times. Pickleball nets, pickleballs, & permits for courts are included in the seasonal fee. The Recreation Department and Medford Family Network is once again partnering to offer FREE Drop-in playtime at the Recreation Center. Led by Medford Family Network Instructor, Miss Cindy. Ride on scooter, tunnels, soccer, basketballs, slides, building blocks, and more will be set up in the gym to play with.No pre-registration is necessary. Participants will register when they arrive to the gym.

Canta y Baila Conmigo creates a playful, interactive atmosphere where language-learning is naturally and organically integrated into the musical experience. CyBC appeals to a wide variety of families, from native and heritage Spanish speakers to brand new Spanish-learners. It is different from other early childhood language offerings in that, rather than "teaching Spanish vocabulary through songs," CyBC teaches the "Spanish language through music." Because of the quality of the music experience, families come for the language and stay for the music.

Sensory Friendly Open Gym is a dedicated time for children and their families who may  enjoy a quieter and less crowded open gym time. Our goal for this open gym time is create an environment that is not over stimulating compared to our weekly Open Gym times. During Sensory Friendly Open Gym, we will decrease the lighting, and provide sensory toys and equipment. The gym will be divided into two separate spaces, one half will be for sports related free play. On the other half there will be matted areas, small sensory toys, large foam shapes and blue building blocks.Registration is required for this Open gym time as to keep enrollment low.

Girls on the Run inspires participants of all abilities to recognize their individual strengths while building a sense of connection in a team setting. Volunteer coaches facilitate lessons that blend physical activity with life skill development to enable participants to adapt to whatever comes their way. Canta y Baila Conmigo creates a playful, interactive atmosphere where language-learning is naturally and organically integrated into the musical experience. CyBC appeals to a wide variety of families, from native and heritage Spanish speakers to brand new Spanish-learners. It is different from other early childhood language offerings in that, rather than "teaching Spanish vocabulary through songs," CyBC teaches the "Spanish language through music." Because of the quality of the music experience, families come for the language and stay for the music.

Sensory Friendly Open Gym is a dedicated time for children and their families who may  enjoy a quieter and less crowded open gym time. Our goal for this open gym time is create an environment that is not over stimulating compared to our weekly Open Gym times. During Sensory Friendly Open Gym, we will decrease the lighting, and provide sensory toys and equipment. The gym will be divided into two separate spaces, one half will be for sports related free play. On the other half there will be matted areas, small sensory toys, large foam shapes and blue building blocks.Registration is required for this Open gym time as to keep enrollment low.

Canta y Baila Conmigo creates a playful, interactive atmosphere where language-learning is naturally and organically integrated into the musical experience. CyBC appeals to a wide variety of families, from native and heritage Spanish speakers to brand new Spanish-learners. It is different from other early childhood language offerings in that, rather than "teaching Spanish vocabulary through songs," CyBC teaches the "Spanish language through music." It is different from other early childhood language offerings in that, rather than "teaching Spanish vocabulary through songs," CyBC teaches the "Spanish language through music." Because of the quality of the music experience, families come for the language and stay for the music.

Sensory Friendly Open Gym is a dedicated time for children and their families who may  enjoy a quieter and less crowded open gym time. Our goal for this open gym time is create an environment that is not over stimulating compared to our weekly Open Gym times. During Sensory Friendly Open Gym, we will decrease the lighting, and provide sensory toys and equipment. The gym will be divided into two separate spaces, one half will be for sports related free play. On the other half there will be matted areas, small sensory toys, large foam shapes and blue building blocks.Registration is required for this Open gym time as to keep enrollment low.

It is different from other early childhood language offerings in that, rather than "teaching Spanish vocabulary through songs," CyBC teaches the "Spanish language through music." Sensory Friendly Open Gym is a dedicated time for children and their families who may  enjoy a quieter and less crowded open gym time. Our goal for this open gym time is create an environment that is not over stimulating compared to our weekly Open Gym times. During Sensory Friendly Open Gym, we will decrease the lighting, and provide sensory toys and equipment. The gym will be divided into two separate spaces, one half will be for sports related free play. On the other half there will be matted areas, small sensory toys, large foam shapes and blue building blocks.Registration is required for this Open gym time as to keep enrollment low.

Canta y Baila Conmigo creates a playful, interactive atmosphere where language-learning is naturally and organically integrated into the musical experience. CyBC appeals to a wide variety of families, from native and heritage Spanish speakers to brand new Spanish-learners. It is different from other early childhood language offerings in that, rather than "teaching Spanish vocabulary through songs," CyBC teaches the "Spanish language through music." Because of the quality of the music experience, families come for the language and stay for the music.

Pickleball is available for play Tuesday through Saturday at Dugger Park.Registration is required - Registered participants will receive a blue/pink bracelet admitting them to play on the courts during the designated times. Pickleball nets, pickleballs, & permits for courts are included in the seasonal fee. Residents can purchase a pass online beginning April 2. Non-Residents can purchase beginning April 4. If you purchase your pass online, you must pick up your bracelets and show proof of residency at the Medford Recreation Center before visiting the courts. (Recreation Center, located at 30 Forest Street Street, Medford, MA 02155). Please visit the Rec Center during Indoor Pickleball play times. Resident Fee: $20.00 per seasonNon-Resident Fee: $35.00 per seasonEnforcement of Program Registration will begin, Tuesday April 9th Refunds or credits will not be given due to inclement weather.

Medford High School Tennis Coach Drew Hendrickson will be leading a tennis program that will offer fast-paced and fun tennis classes. Students will learn all basic tennis skills, participate in team-based activities, and engage in healthy competitions every day. Canta y Baila Conmigo creates a playful, interactive atmosphere where language-learning is naturally and organically integrated into the musical experience. CyBC appeals to a wide variety of families, from native and heritage Spanish speakers to brand new Spanish-learners. It is different from other early childhood language offerings in that, rather than "teaching Spanish vocabulary through songs," CyBC teaches the "Spanish language through music." Because of the quality of the music experience, families come for the language and stay for the music.

Sensory Friendly Open Gym is a dedicated time for children and their families who may  enjoy a quieter and less crowded open gym time. Our goal for this open gym time is create an environment that is not over stimulating compared to our weekly Open Gym times. During Sensory Friendly Open Gym, we will decrease the lighting, and provide sensory toys and equipment. The gym will be divided into two separate spaces, one half will be for sports related free play. On the other half there will be matted areas, small sensory toys, large foam shapes and blue building blocks.Registration is required for this Open gym time as to keep enrollment low.
