Coordination Station - Coordination Station (Winter II) Medford Recreation coordination station, indoors at the recreation center. all equipment provided. Coach Sue will teach various skills to develop stronger coordination. This will include directionality, spatial awareness, crossing the midline, and balance. Basic skills -hopping, skipping, running, galloping and jumping will be practiced each session in a lively, non competitive atmosphere. To strengthen balance low balance beams, rolling, poses, and balance pads. To strengthen directionality and focus scooter boards and parachutes will be used. Instruction will focus on development and enjoyment of the various strengthening activities. Each class will end with a new challenging obstacle course. Please wear sneakers.

Each week, we will have fun activities and games to help get your child become comfortable on the ice in a fun atmosphere. Coordination Station - Coordination Station (Winter II) Medford Recreation coordination station, indoors at the recreation center. all equipment provided. Coach Sue will teach various skills to develop stronger coordination. This will include directionality, spatial awareness, crossing the midline, and balance. Basic skills -hopping, skipping, running, galloping and jumping will be practiced each session in a lively, non competitive atmosphere. To strengthen balance low balance beams, rolling, poses, and balance pads. To strengthen directionality and focus scooter boards and parachutes will be used. Instruction will focus on development and enjoyment of the various strengthening activities. Each class will end with a new challenging obstacle course. Please wear sneakers.

Coordination Station - Coordination Station (Winter II) Medford Recreation coordination station, indoors at the recreation center. all equipment provided. Coach Sue will teach various skills to develop stronger coordination. This will include directionality, spatial awareness, crossing the midline, and balance. Basic skills -hopping, skipping, running, galloping and jumping will be practiced each session in a lively, non competitive atmosphere. To strengthen balance low balance beams, rolling, poses, and balance pads. To strengthen directionality and focus scooter boards and parachutes will be used. Instruction will focus on development and enjoyment of the various strengthening activities. Each class will end with a new challenging obstacle course. Please wear sneakers.

Adult skates are available to rent at the Skate Shop for $8.Join Medford Recreation as we revamp our Learn to Skate Program! Coach Christine will be teaching your child how to ice skate. Each week, we will have fun activities and games to help get your child become comfortable on the ice in a fun atmosphere. Little Skaters - Little Skaters (Winter II) Parent participation is not required. Children are encouraged to go on the ice on their own, but parents/guardians are welcome if needed. Adult skates are available to rent at the Skate Shop for $8.Join Medford Recreation as we revamp our Learn to Skate Program! Coach Christine will be teaching your child how to ice skate. Each week, we will have fun activities and games to help get your child become comfortable on the ice in a fun atmosphere. All children must wear a helmet and mittens or gloves to participate in the class. Due to limited preschool skate sizes, participants must provide their own skates.
