Schedule: Wright's Pond is expected to open June 16, 2025. Hours will be from 10:00am-one half hour before dusk.
You can purchase a Wright's Pond Pass online from the options below. Visitors must be a resident and obtain a season pass. On your first visit to the pond, please show the Park Rangers your receipt along with proof of residency. Recreation staff members will issue you the vehicle pass or walk in key tag.
Proof of Residency:
Wright's Pond passes are for Medford Residents only. On your first visit, please provide your Massachusetts's driver license or ID with a Medford address. If you have recently moved to Medford, you may show a current utility bill that is in the name of the person on the receipt.
PASSES (Medford Residents Only)
Walk-in Pass: $22 (Admits 1-3 people)
Vehicle Sticker: $55 (Please note: For visitors using a vehicle sticker, only one car-load of visitors per day is allowed)
PASSES FOR SENIORS AND RESIDENTS WITH DISABILITIES (Medford Residents Only)
Vehicle Sticker: $33 for vehicles with disability placards and for seniors 62 and older
Caregiver Vehicle Pass (per vehicle): $55
In order to increase accessibility for residents who require additional supports, Medford Recreation and the Medford Parks Commission have introduced a new pass type--the Caregiver Pass.
The Caregiver Pass is for the vehicle of a friend, family member, PCA, or Aide who lives outside Medford and provides direct support to senior citizens or adult residents with a disability who would otherwise be unable to drive to Wright's Pond.
Caregiver pass can only be used to bring a Medford Resident. The pass will be sold to the resident, who must be present in the vehicle AND submit photo ID to the park ranger each time when visiting the pond.
PASS RENEWAL
Walk-in Pass: If you kept your keytag from 2024, you can simply renew your walk in pass for this year. The keytag will become reactivated with this year's dates. If you no longer have the keytag, please visit the Snack Shack on your first visit for a new one.
