|Wright's Pond is closed for the Season. Pass Sales for the Summer of 2020 will be on sale at the beginning of April.
|Wrights Pond is operated by the Recreation Department and maintained by the Parks Division. This pond is open and staffed with lifeguards at the end of June - End of August. The pond is open daily from 10:00am-half hour before dusk (including July 4th). Membership is required and is available for Medford residents only.
|Parking Lot is open only during operational hours.
|Wright's Pond offers Birthday Parties.
- All parties must be reserved in advanced (please give three day notice) and should be scheduled between 11am-2pm or 3pm-6pm.
- There is a $50 fee for up to 20 attendees.
- The person reserving the birthday party must have either a walk-in or vehicle pass.
- Only 4 vehicles per party are allowed.

How to Purchase a Pond or Pool Pass
Visit the Medford Recreation Center located on 30 Forest Street. Passes will be on sale at that location from April 1 - June 21. Hours are Monday-Friday from 9:30am-12:30pm and Saturdays from 9:30am-2:00pm. After June 21, passes can be purchased at Tufts Pool and Wright’s Pond during normal operating hours.

Cardboard Boat Race: Saturday, June 1
Medford Day: Sunday, June 2
Wright's Pond Clean Up Day: Saturday, June 15

If you do not have a log in, please create a household account (give up to 48 hours for approval). Once your account has been created, you will receive an email confirmation and can then purchase a pass. Please print out your receipt or save the email confirmation. On your first visit to the pond or pool, show the Front Desk your receipt along with proof of residency. Recreation Staff members will issue you the vehicle pass or keytags. We will not be mailing passes this year to your home.
Proof of Residency:
When purchasing a Wright’s Pond pass or a Pool Membership in-person at the resident rate, or when you pick up your vehicle sticker/ keytag on your first visit, you will need to provide proof of residency. Please provide your driver license or Massachusetts ID with a Medford address. If you have recently moved to Medford, you may show a current utility bill that is in your name.
