Medford Recreation is excited to launch a brand new adaptive art class with Artsy Fartsy Mom! This new adaptive art & painting class invites children to explore art in a fun, supportive, and flexible environment. Designed for students of all abilities, the class emphasizes creativity, self-expression, and joy over perfection or technique.
Young artists will experiment with a variety of painting materials, tools, and adaptive techniques that meet each child where they are. Projects are open-ended and process-focused, allowing students to express their ideas in their own unique ways. Instruction is individualized and paced to support different learning styles, sensory needs, and motor abilities.
Through painting, students will build confidence, fine-motor skills, and creative problem-solving while developing a love for art. No prior art experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to explore!
