The Medford Recreation Center is located below the Chevalier Theater and includes a full size basketball court with additional lines for volleyball and pickleball. There are also five classrooms which are used for the YMCA Afterschool Program and Recreation programming. During the Winter season, the Recreation Office is located in the Center, offering programs in the gym seven days a week.Accessibility:Two accessible parking spots are in the lot adjacent to the center. Elevator access is from an automatic door off the parking lot and enters directly into the gym on the lower level. Elevator door access is a 10-30 feet walk from the accessible parking spots. The door to stairs is 15-23 feet from these spots. The elevator is unlocked during operation hours and remains accessible to recreation participants during Chevalier events.
